The most anticipated event for gravel lovers is back: on the weekend of June 6th and 7th, 2026, Pomarance will once again transform into the capital of the "Strade Grigie" (The Grey Roads). This event is more than just a race through geothermal steam vents and lunar landscapes; it is a 360-degree sensory experience blending high-level competition, music, and world-class gastronomy.

From Ultra Challenges to Classic routes
The action kicks off on Saturday, June 6th, with the most extreme appointment: at 3:00 PM, the bold riders of the Ultra route will set off, ready to challenge the geothermal hills deep into the night. Sunday, June 7th, will be the day for the wider community. The start whistle for all other categories—Short, Medium, and Long—is set for 9:00 AM. A long parade of riders will head out to discover unexplored trails, surrounded by the dust and wild beauty of a world-unique territory.A Weekend of celebration, here’s the side events program

The engines officially start humming on Friday, June 5th, with a special welcome designed to give a taste of the adventure to come. The GeoVillage atmosphere will be fueled by a set from Gualtiero and DJ Roby, turning the pre-race anticipation into a moment of pure conviviality where guests can enjoy the first tastes of the new menu. The highlight of the side events will explode on Saturday night with a massive "Back to the 90s" party. This evening promises to make you forget your heart rate monitor for a few hours: an explosive DJ set, vocalists, and three live performers will reinterpret the hits that defined an unforgettable decade, accompanied by high-energy entertainment and themed giveaways.

The "Wild Tuscany" menu
To satisfy the hunger of the gravel riders, GeoGravel 2026 is launching the "Wild Tuscany" menu—a raw and authentic approach to the table. It starts with the "Cyclist's First Courses," a trilogy of Italian classics: Amatriciana, Carbonara, and Puttanesca, alongside traditional local tortelli. On the grills, the centerpiece will be the Scottona Loin (premium beef), selected for superior quality and carved on the spot, served alongside a Wild Grill (a tribute to local game) and the traditional Volterra-style Tripe. Great care is also taken for vegan and vegetarian athletes, with a dedicated menu featuring savory Gnocchi with bell pepper ragout and a special vegan burger.
