GeoGravel Tuscany – Le Strade Grigie: new stops revealed among villages and geothermal vapors

The growth of an event is driven by the voices of those who experience it. For this edition of GeoGravel Tuscany – Le Strade Grigie, we wanted to treasure the valuable feedback received from participants in recent years. The desire for an even more authentic experience, deeply rooted in the region, inspired us to design a true "flavor map" of rest stops. From historic wineries to medieval villages, this is a tribute to the most authentic side of Tuscany, a selection of iconic locations where you can recharge your batteries surrounded by beauty.

The stops of GeoGravel Tuscany - Le Strade Grigie 2026. Here is where to find them based on your route:

Short
For those seeking fun without overexertion, three key stops are planned: a quick "Caffè al volo" in the scenic setting of Libbiano and a refreshing break at Bar Il Bersagliere—the iconic "Camparino"—in Serrazzano.

Medium
This intermediate track follows the classics. Caffè al volo in Libbiano before heading south to toast with the energy of Vapori di Birra in Sasso Pisano—the first craft brewery in the world to use geothermal steam.

Long
A profound journey touching both the sea and the hinterland. In addition to the Caffè al volo in Libbiano, riders on this track will find another stop in Bibbona, where the break will take place in the picturesque Villetta di Monterufoli. The grand finale is entrusted to the hops of Vapori di Birra.

Ultra
An epic challenge against time and oneself. The weekend's heroes will find support before reaching Volterra and then at the beating heart of the event, the Piazzone in Pomarance—where the party never stops. Those choosing to ride through the night must be self-sufficient; however, for those waiting for the light of dawn, there is the Caffè al volo in Libbiano, followed by the stages in Bibbona, the vineyard stop at Villetta di Monterufoli, and the final refreshment at Vapori di Birra.

Every stop is the result of a constant commitment to transform this event into something more than just a bike ride. This year, every break is designed to tell the story of a territory that welcomes, restores, and regenerates.
