Excitement is mounting for GeoGravel Tuscany – Le Strade Grigie event, taking place in Pomarance (PI) on 31st May and 1st June 2025. Registrations are steadily increasing and will remain open until 30th May at the discounted rate of €35.

GeoGravel Tuscany – Le Strade Grigie is more than just a cycling event; it’s a celebration of the gravel spirit. The ride starts and finishes at the iconic Piazzone, the vibrant heart of the event. Over the course of two days, participants will be immersed in the wild beauty of Tuscany’s geothermal landscapes, enjoying stunning routes, street food, live music, and moments of togetherness that make this experience truly unique.

GeoGravel Tuscany – Le Strade Grigie is a journey into the world of clean energy, specifically geothermal power—this renewable resource harnesses the heat of the Earth. As well as generating electricity and heat, geothermal energy has a positive impact on tourism, culture, and local development. Thanks in part to collaboration with local institutions, the region stands as a model of integration between technological innovation, sustainability, and the promotion of the local area.
Enel Green Power is a global leader in the sector, with expertise developed over more than 200 years. This began with the first experiments in Larderello in 1818, followed by the launch of the world’s first geothermal power plant in 1913. Currently, the use of geothermal energy helps to avoid the emission of over 3 million tonnes of CO₂ equivalent and saves around 1.1 Mtoe of primary energy.
Most of the GeoGravel Tuscany – Le Strade Grigie routes pass through Larderello, home to Europe’s largest geothermal plant: the Valle Secolo facility, which produces up to 120 MW.

Cycling enthusiasts are invited to experience the warm heart of Tuscany during a weekend dedicated to gravel riding and sustainability. Remember, if you register before 30 May 2025, you can take advantage of the standard late rate of €35. Alternatively, you can register on the day of the event with the LAST MINUTE option for €40.

Two special registration options are also available:

  • COMBO GeoGravel + GreenFondo: a joint registration for both events at €50, perfect for those looking to enjoy a complete cycling experience.

  • RIDE TOGETHER: the offer for groups. Just 5 people are enough to access the reduced rate of €20 per person; with 10 or more participants, the price drops to €15 per rider. A perfect opportunity for those who love to ride together.

As in previous years, there will be four routes to choose from, catering to all levels and types of gravel rider. Starting from Piazzone, the routes will take participants into the heart of an authentic, unspoilt landscape, offering spectacular views of stunning scenery and geothermal features.

GeoGravel Tuscany – Le Strade Grigie is also a celebration of togetherness, with music, Tuscan street food and evening entertainment.

It is an event created for riding, sharing, having fun, and discovering the region from a different perspective.
